Shw mae! Hi there!
Who else needs more pretty bullet journals? 🙋♀️
You can never have enough notebooks or journals for bullet journaling. It’s the unspoken law of the universe. The more you buy the more you need.
As your new bullet journal friend, I am here for you. I have designed some gorgeous journals that can feed your addiction. We don’t judge, this is a safe space.
So, who are we?
Well, the husband is the ‘Acacia’ in Acacia & Pine and me, Mona, I’m the ‘Pine’ and we are raising three wee pinecones between us (that’s three kids, we are not doing the school run with three actual pinecones in the morning!)
The acacia tree is the national tree of Kenya, which is where the husband was born. It’s that gorgeous tree you see in the backdrop of those beautiful African safari sunsets.
We live in Wales and are surrounded by magnificent Scots Pine trees. I am an earth and environmental science student by day with a love of local ecosystems, so it made sense to include pine in our name, so that’s how the name for our bullet journals was born!
Plus, it sounds pretty. And we made the logo bright-in-your-face-pink. Because… pink.

Our Story
I’ve been bullet journaling on and off since 2016 but recently my mental health took a horrible turn and bullet journaling has been a way to work through it.
None of the bullet journals felt quite right though. They either have thousands of miles attached to them from being transported halfway across the world, paper from questionable sources, labour from questionable sources and it just didn’t sit right. As it is I already felt tremendous guilt at having a hobby that uses paper…nooo! So, I used my environmental science knowledge to find a better solution.
I designed these elegant premium quality bullet journals, made locally here in Wales with paper sourced as locally as possible from FSC sources (all entirely sustainable, I checked and double checked). A bonus is that all the inks used for printing are vegetable based.
Every bullet journal has links to the rich Welsh culture with a story for every colour and every emblem, go ahead and take a look here!
Accessible Bullet Journaling for Visual Impairment

You’ll notice something different with our bullet journals. They’re adapted for people with visual impairments. Why? Because I too have a visual impairment and journaling with tiny tiny feint dots drove me insane. And it gave me headaches. The dots are slightly darker and just a tad bigger than most bullet journals as it works well with magnifiers and colour inversion tools.
The bright covers can make the journal easy to find and the quality foil embossing provides a tactile decoration so those with similar needs to mine can enjoy the beautiful journal covers.
The two ribbons in different colours helps to keep pages organised without getting mixed up. I know when I have the same colour on another colour, I can’t differentiate between the two things, so I’m hoping this little feature will help.
You will also find accessibility functions on the website to change the font, colour and size.
Keep an eye on the social media to see how I use magnifiers and colour inversion tools to help me journal.
Accessible Bullet Journaling for Dyslexia
Any user on our website can change the font to make it more readable. Why did we do this? Both the husband and my first born have dyslexia as their superpower and prefer an easy to read font to maximise their awesomeness.
Our logo is also designed in a dyslexia friendly font to make it more recognisable.
I’ll be sharing and posting a lot of tips on how to journal with dyslexia, so watch this space!
